A dog’s eyes
are set more on the sides of the head and less forward-looking, than a human’s
eyes. Because of this, a dog has a wider field of view than a human.
Depending on
the breed, the field of vision is about 240 to 290 degrees for a dog, but only
180 degrees for a human.
