C is for
Consistency
It is important
that we are consistent in what our dogs can and shouldn’t do and consistent
with our interactions and communication. Whatever we are attempting to
communicate to a dog, it will be easier for the dog to understand if we are
consistent. Decide on where your dog is to sleep, which rooms your dog can be
in, whether he can get on the sofa, whether your dog is allowed on the bed,
what cues you will use and so on and ensure everyone is consistent!
